Hard Drive for Dm600

I am hazy on this, but doesnt the DM600 limit the size of the HDD? I cant remember if this is the case or not, but when I added one to mine I went for an old 40GB model.

But yes, you need a PATA/IDE drive.

I’ve just pulled this off a seller’s site who has supplied me with my 500-Cs in the past:

DreamBox DM600pvr

I just put a Fujitsu 120gb 2.5 IDE hard drive in my dm600 no probs at all...got it brand new for £23.00 delivered, I've heard of peeps putting a 250gb no probs, as long as it's 2.5 IDE as Karym6 say's no worries m8.

Interesting, I wonder why I went for 40GB then... I know I got the drive for free, maybe it was purely that.

I had a 120GB in mine for ages now :) 60 hours of recording is enough for me

Not wanting to boast, but I have a 320GB in my 600. So I don't think size of storage is an issue, just size of drive.
