Just got this off a a mate, just tried it on mine works fine, apprently i have a clone but i couldnt give a rats arse im not reflashing coz i think its all bull sh1t anyways, not heard anyone say therer box has died, just seen some link with some screenshot of a tv prolly edited in photohop :D :proud:

ur mistaken bud the app doenst kill ur box the head.ko driver in latest gemini does
this app merly tells u if u have a clone and could possibly be affected, the app checks ur mac addy i think :)

kk so im ok :) have gemini sorted that problem ? cant boxes with that driver which kills the box be sorted ..

nope gemini are blaming DMM for updateing the drivers in the cvs BUT if u check the cvs there hasnt been a update on the drivers for dm500 for some time now so either there working with dmm and using a version sent to them by dmm or its gemini them selfs lol

gemini have since closed there own forum untill a report from DMM is released at the min everyones blaming each other pmsl

only fix for the affected boxes is to jtag and repair the bootloader,
other threads seem to indicate some kind of legal action against gemini and/ or dmm but since uk law and german law differs so much i can see this going on for a long time
in any event all intresting stuff lol

Anybody successfully managed to jtag a 500
 
when i run this .exe i put in the dreambox ip addy , and then i get and error 'Illegal PORT command' ..
 
iv e got an eaglebox i know its a clone im running the dw2.o image this might sound daft but im still learning do i have gemini on it or is that a totally different image altogether.
