Latest Fix - must be doing something wrong

Been doing this key business since 10am, don't ask getting nowhere big headache, big waste of a day

Getting nowhere, i can FTP and use tuxbox commander.

Great i thought just seen this fix -yes

unrared and ftp to dm600 usr/keys overwrote bin file

It's there checked in tuxbox

Deleted old keys too.

Restarted dm600 and nothing.

This box does not seem to update the keys, checked and keys.txt is still blank

Why?

Pli image is installed

Only way all day ,i can get keys to come up is yellow button/ dm600 extra settings/ update key lists yellow button. Is this right?

Please help
 
There is a new auto fix in downloads just released.

Just the keys file is still empty

And nothing but free to air works

Not sure about a DM 600 and the pli imagebut on a 500c and the DW 2 image you copy the file to /var/keys not /usr/keys. Make sure your using Evocam and try it again.
 
even with dm600 you copy the rom in var.key and restart the camd and thats it. i have tried it and it works. thanks.
 
Is Au turned on?

Maybe not how can i check?

Seem to think this value is set to 1 somewhere

Also What's the difference between the /usr and / var directories they both have key directories?

there the same files m8 its only a symlink from /var to /usr some image makers use this on dm600 as its easier to pack addons for all platforms (dm500/dm600/dm7000 etc)

Just tried the new fix on d600 with cli image and seems to be working for me
 
Same problem here on the 600 newbie image - Keys refuse to appear in the keylist.txt

Can someone confirm that I should have

I've deleted the keys from Keylist.txt as per the guides and it never re-populates despite restating the box, cams, selcting sly spotys
 
I'm having the same problem here with my 600. I've transferred over the new ROM files, deleted all the text from the Keylist.txt file so it's now 0 bytes in size (is that what I'm supposed to do??), and nothing. No new keys appearing in the Keylist.txt file. AU is set to 02, using Evocamd 2.16. Any ideas?
 
There is no need to delete keys from the keylist.txt if you have the dw2.0 and diorj 0.6 image I cant speak for other images not tried them but I would have thought the same just download the 3 new au roms from thread link below and ftp to var/keys for the dw2.0 image or var/scce for the diorj 0.6 image replacing the old one's when prompted to do so then reboot the box via the power button on the remote (select reboot)

Sorry, should've mentioned I'm using a DM600 with the CLi image.I'll try copy back an old keyfile and see what it does with invalid keys instead... Thanks :)
