Dreambox 500c Froze Then Problem After Problem When Restarted

couple of days ago my dreambox froze on one of the uktv channels,
then had to restart it,
after restarting it from the plug,
the first time use menu came up asking me for the time and also to scan it as if i am using it for the 1st time.
i scanend and then all the channels reappeared and even the ones i had locked and hidden came up,
tehey were still locked but werent hiidden,
the skin resetted to default.
now when i change channel a box appears for about 1 second "this service cannot be descrambeled",
and also in the last 2 hours when i press info the now and next epg listing says "no epg info".
i reboot and iti appears but then after couple of minutes i get the "no epg info" message again.

What shall i do and what could ahve caused this?
i am usiing the DW 2.0 Image

happened to my bro's box.. simply re-flashed it with a null modem cable all sorted..

anything could have caused it, but if you reflash it you will be ok.

PS: is it a clone or genuine ?

its a clone

same happend to mine but as maarksparky said a reflash will sort it, it cured mine

thanks guys

to hide the message [cannot be descrambled] go to setup then to expert setup and scroll down to hide error windows and untick this option.

anyhow Gunner bigman.. nae need to panic.. nothing is wrong with the box.. I was asking whether it was clone or original because some clones had bad tuners..

but re-flash the box and fingers crossed mate..

I have had this on my Dm500 when I have almost run of space though not so much if I use one of the maxvar images.
