As the title says, I want to mod the bootloader so it enables network boot from the start (i.e. it tries a network boot before loading the flash). It looks like a DBox2 does it by default, and it's a shame that the dreambox doesn't. At the moment, to network boot, I've got to corrupt the CRAMFS partition, so it falls back to sending BOOTP requests. This was fine, until my router died this morning. Now I'm NFS booting from my PC, but that means it needs to be on all the time to watch TV. It'd be nice if the dreambox tried a network boot first, then if it fails, loads up the flash. TV would work whether my PC was on or off.
Since it's OpenBios, is there anywhere with the source files, so I can build myself?
If no-one can help, maybe you could point me at somewhere else that may know (by pm if needs be).
