Addons / Plugins

I am using the pli iolite 2008 image and i was wondering if there is anywhere to get more addons/plugins apart from using the software option via the blue button?

Not really looking anything in particular, just looking to see whats available.

The Blue button only downloads what is available on their server. If you want extra plugins than you are going to need them in the tar.gz file format and install them manually by copying them to the tmp directory on the dreambox.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how i can remove plugins listed after pressing the yellow button? Im looking to remove some such as Bitrate Viewer, Web Browser, email, modem internet etc...

Under software management i only have the SQlite epg and free disk space plugins listed for removal so i need to do it manually. Even if i can remove them from appearing on the list but still be installed that would be ok.

just ftp into the box m8 and remove them from the plugins dir - that's what I do for all the plugins I don't want, then I just add my own.

I am also using the new iolite image released on 30/12/07 - it's pretty good and fixes quite a few bugs from the previous iolite image.

Is the folder for the plugins /var/tuxbox/plugins??

In this folder i only have the dbepg and diskspace .cfg and .so files so i was wondering if there is another folder. Have you found the plugins?
