Adding XXX channels + Sky box office for the sports!

Hey chaps,

I haven't checked in here for a while as I've been busy with work and whatnot. I've just seen you tremendous folks have released DW2.0 image, so I'm gonna give it a go later on tonight. I remember a guide someone posted up which involved adding a few lines to a config file via FTP which added all the "unscannable" XXX channels to an "Adult" bouquet. Someone in that thread also posted up how to add the live sports channel too. Hatton is fighting soon so I don't wanna miss that !

Also while I'm here, because of how often I used to flash my box, I never used to set up bouqets, but assuming that DW2.0 is stable, I want to finally go about setting some up. It's a total pain in the ass to do it by hand as you have to pretty much go through each of the transponders (?) to actually see what channel it is before you add it to the bouqet. I know there's tools out there to help you set your bouqets up, but which one is the best and easiest to use ?

That thread doesn't tell me how to add the PPV sports channel though. Guess I confused it with another thread. Can you point me in the direction of another one which does?

I think there was one for the sport channels because I posted what I did in it but can't find it now.

All I did was added this to a bouquet.

#SERVICE: 1:0:1:6a4:7:f020:0:0:0:0:
#DESCRIPTION: Sky Box Office
#SERVICE: 1:0:1:625:6:f020:0:0:0:0:
#DESCRIPTION: Setanta Sports PPV

Not sure about the last entry but the sky one is fine.

any1 have the total list of channels that dont get picked up so then we can manually add them. e.g sky box office ppv channels adult and all.

The link in post #2 covers the adult related channels although you may need a dbox2 file for your area for the correct frequencies. Not all areas get all channels. Plus post #4 are the two ppv channels.

I'm not aware of any others.

Im confused by this thread! Are you saying that you can get more xxx channels other that playboy television x and adult channels? Also sky box office for sport? Im confused thought this was not possible!

Yeah, I'm confused too now. Are there channels that can only be obtained through editing the relevant files and not through the DB menu?

is there an easy guide to follow to add thses channels?

The channels I mentioned in earlier posts are only available if you add them to your bouquets manually. But, some of those channels are not broadcast in your area (eg Hustler is not in my area) so adding those manually is a waste of time.

Dbox2's don't have problems finding these channels (if they are broadcast) so their services files will show you the frequencies for your area if you find a local dbox2 file in that forum.

The thread linked to in the second post tells you exactly how to do it It's pretty easy. Look for my post in that thread though, it's on page2 or 3 because I got it wrong when doing it first time! Thanks btw grim!

Thanks. Just gotta hope someone adds a local file for my area now

I cant believe I got these channels to work not because I wouldn't understand how to do it just the fact that they have been available for so long and I wasn't aware of it!

I got sly box office and five XXX channels working - Red Hot Amateur, Red Hot All Girl ,Red Hot Wives, Spice Extreme, xxx xplicit. I used DCC and Dreamedit only if that helps anyone.

Of course this would not have happened for me without the info posted by dc_uk & grim00 big thanks to you guys.
