tuner reseating help dreambox 500c

what could be the problem i get freezing on zee tv , cinema , music for sum reason all other channels are fine it freezes for like 5 mins wont even work with a reboot i need to know how to reseat it mynz typa loose.

i have 1 ( signal boosta ) the freezing started yesterday huh. it not the signal issues my snr is 94-95 % allround. [MAD]I need to know how to reseat the tuner any 1 ][/MAD].

to reseat the tuner you pull it out and stick it back in,just like a pci card in a computer,i think

what readings u getting snr ber ect on the channels that are freezing

maybe your signal is too strong ? if its only freezing on one or two transponders this to me would say that your tuner is in fact seated right and working.

have u even opened up your dreambox to see the tuner? maybe trying to help your self instead of demanding others do all the work for u would be a better aproach

i would go for that , tuner too strong.have you flashed with the new v2.0 software ?.i had a problem blocking and shit but only on one or two and no sports what-so-ever.i changed the tuners drivers with the blue button ,only stab in the dark like .

I didn't realise that the tuner in the DM500 was a plug & play type - does this leave the way open for changing the tuner for a different 500 type tuner - satellite or new tuner (stronger?). Is there any market for busted box, spare tuners?

Fit an attenuator,cant see reseating do anything.

my freezing has gone sumhow but i get a black screen for 3-4 seconds then it goes sumhow so fooking annoying. :Kickassro

my signal level is 94-95 % every channel i was getting a low signal issue so i put a boosta in the freezing has gone but the blak screen hasnt gone.

my sig is 96 and perfect.try restarting emu or reflashing

There is nothing in the dreambox section.? i cant find anything to download

yeh my blocking up blak images hasnt gone but hav to cope with it as there is no solution.
