dreambox 7025cc cannot view encrypted/invalid image

hi everyone. just got myself an dreambox 7025cc the other day. i have just updated the image to the Ronaldd Image - Backup-Brings your Dreambox to liv in the downloads section. the flash went well but what i am having problems with besides having to manually scan is viewing the encrypted channels. i go to main menu cas setup softcam setup press yellow to restart cam but this does not clear them. his it me or am i doing something wrong. also since then i have downloaded the lt team,second maneuver image but it comes up flashing failed (010 invalid image). can anybody shine any light on this as well please. many thanks on anticipation on the possible answers to this.

do a manual scan or what ever way you do it lol

ftp the keys and scce files /usr/...



you can down load the soft cam if your box is connected to the internet or router ,from menu>addon manager>download addonss>softcams i use evocamd 12 or 13 which works best for me ,it seems to work better than the newest evocamd if not try mgcamd..

reboot your box
restart emu

you should be up and running

I installed the Lt image but I could not get the EMU to work. I ftp'ed them to the Temp folder and installed, but they do not appear in the EMU selection menu...Anyone any ideas: all i have is common interface !!!!!

hi i am a bit of a newbie at this. i have successfully flashed the box using a null modern cable via a usb serial adaptor with the new image & manually scanned for channels which it as picked up. the problem is the next step on how to attach the zip files/scce keys onto the box. the dreambox is not connected to the router only to the computer to do the relevant flash. i presume i need to make this connection for the next stage to continue but i have not got a clue on what to do next. i have downloaded the 2 files onto my desktop ready for further instructions. please be gentle.

Yoy do not have to be on a network to load the files. Connect directly to the box with a laptop or pc and create a local network.Once done, FTP to the box and place the contents of the Keys file in Var/Keys and contents of the SCCE file in Var/SCCE. You will also need to load an EMU. I use Ecocamd 2.14. After this, set the EMU as default and it should clear the channels. The EMU goes to the Var/Temp directory. You can load it using the Add on option in the image and selecting manual install. Having said all that, I could not get the emu to show in the LT image so I went back to gemini 2 v 3....Hope this helps.

had the same on an image - found that some versions of evocam/mgcam didnt work.... try older versions from the addin menu
