I am having probs with net speeds not sure if anybody else is haveing a prob like mine my smb share is very slow compared to my ftp access...

I bought some piece of cr@p off ebay (nas 2 drive generic). After a week of messing with it I am giving up all pretense of recording across a wire to a hard drive. Will get a dvd/hd recorder methinks. If anyone in the Pale wants one ....

just put it to one side for a little bit mate. I going to try one over the next couple of weeks. I am sure we will get there :)

I'm getting one for my xmas so hopefully I'll be able to help out more in this department!

I have the same issue during playback.
I bought a Thecus Yes box N2100 which required the latest beta firmware before I could even playback at all. Hopefully a later firmware will fix it altogether. But now I find out after two months of using it that the company is releasing a Media version of the same model. Wish I had of waited...
