[DM800HD] Clone DM800 wont find wireless network

Hi guys
My sister has an old clone DM 800, working perfectly until they changed their internet provider. The box now occasionally finds the network, but when i run the test there is no ip address for the box. Any ideas? waiting to see which image but off the top of my head its open pli

Remove all the security on the router does it then find and connect to it.

If it does mate try different security option on the router.

I find from reboot it can take 2-3 mins to lock a wifi signal.

right it works fine when unsecured, but when i set up wpa or other security it fails. any ideas? i cant leave the network unsecure

I figured it would. So no options work at all ? WEP usually does.

Maybe the driver is a generic one for the wifi dongle your using check the chipset and try find a driver specific for that chipset and try that. If not maybe move on to another image.

the box is old as the hills i darent try a new image haha. where would i find the drivers?

You would need to know the sim type then it would be a question of updating the bootloader and then the image.
