Strange openwebif problem

I have a vu solo running openvix and amiko alien 2 running HDMU. Both boxes running perfectly, openwebif is all good.

i have BT broadband with hub4 serving the house. I've just installed a hub3 in my detached garage to serve as an access point.

The vu solo serves the garage as well and need openwebif to let me change channel.

When I surf the IP of the solo from the garage access point it doesn't respond. It's fine in the house on the hub4.

but yet I can surf the IP of the amiko alien in the house and on the garage access point.

only difference I can see is amiko is direct Ethernet into switch connected to hub but solo is connected through power lines...??

any ideas what could be wrong?

Im running mgcamd 1.38 on both boxes, i just still think its down to power line adaptors being used for the vu solo..

I have a garage switch on my main consumer unit but i have another consumer unit in the garage. So if vu solo is in my house and on the network using power lines then maybe its not working on the garage electrics..

Im going to try and FTP to the vu solo from the garage access point then ill have a better idea.
