Flashing DM800 problem

Hi Im trying to flash a DM800 HD PVR. I managed to get an image into the box but on reset it comes up with No CA error. TRied other images with different faults wrong architecture, !!! 010 INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)), box will be unusable now!!, Tried several images to no avail
I.m not sure if the box is a clone or not. Opened up the box and on the sim card - DM800 13255 SIM210
Can anyone help please

Your box is a sim2 clone.

You need to flash the latest ssl/bootloader for sim 2.1 it is 84b once thats flashed then flash a sim2 patched 84b image.

If your struggling to recover from the no ca error use japher flasher in conjunction with both a null modem cable and ethernet.

Attached for you, flash this no need to reboot then a sim2 patch 84d image there is loads to choose from in the downloads section.

Thanks now i'm beginning to get somewhere. The first file went in no problem at all. When I flash the next file it seems to time out between 8 and 12 seconds to go with message ERROR [Connection aborted], upload aborted! Ive tried 7/8 files now and always the same. Can you recommend a file to use

Still trying to load the [FONT=Open Sans, sans-serif]sim2 patch 84d image no luck. Still cannot get to the end. Can you recommend one that works please[/FONT]

You only need to flash the NFI version of the bootloader.

Do this via browser

Then flash this

Thanks everyone for your support. Joining this forum was well worth it. As I'm a Newbie I found it very very confusing with all the jargon etc Secondly, I expected software tools to work. I tried 3 different versions of Dreamup without success. The last version loaded the bootloader but regardless of all the different sim patches I tried it wouldn't load any of them. Finally, Ferret, bless him/her gave me the answer to use the browser to load the patch. It worked fine. Thanks everyone. I hope this helps anyone else that falls into the same trap I did. Can't give enough praise to the people and members running this forum. Tony
