Card sharing help

Hi Guys, having trouble card sharing, I have 3 boxes at home which I can share to, problem is that I cannot share with my m8 in the different house, using dm600 and dyndns on talktalk, i configured box at my house and tested, working fine until he tries it at his house, does not work, any ideas

Could be a problem with your router settings. The firewall or port forwarding

Could be port forwarding or your ip is not static.

Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router

enter the server port cccam or what ever CS you are using to confirm the server can be accessed from the public internet.

how did you fix it

What IP address do you enter in dyndns, I entered my dream box ip and all boxes at home work expect m8's one, when I enter home IP address in dyndns my m8's box work but my boxes at home stop working, any ideas

ok set up so your mates works then change the boxes at home to point to internal ip of server
so line will look

N: 192.168.1.1 port user pass

if server ip is 192.168.1.1

At the moment line is


C: ******.dyndns.org 15000 ***** ***** 1 0 0 { 0:0:2 },

box ip is 192.***.*.*
home ip is 94.***.*.***

which one should i use, do i need to change anything in the f line,

no need to change anything on the server its the clients that are in same house
these will not work on the external ip these need to have the internal ip of server in the line
the router will not let the traffic past if your using external ip as its going out router then try in to get back in
