Dream box 500s - disq problem

Hi guys,

My vu+ has got the dread red light and won't turn on

I've put the dm500s downstairs but can't get it to tune in as my vu+ goes through a disq. 28.2e is on port c but there's nothing connected to a, b, or d as I removed the othe lnb's a while back

Problem is it won't let me tell the dm500 that there's nothing connected on those ports and I think that's why it won't tune in

Any advice please, the box works fine upstairs being connected directly to the lnb

Are you refering to going through a diseqc switch ?

If you are take out the switch for the time been and go directly to the motor.

Does that work ?
