thought this would have worked ok from the lmb to a dream box a two way sat splitter one to the dream box one to another dream box ? but will not work !!!! should this work ?? what I am trying to do is run two boxes from the one lmb is this poss ?

you need a twin lnb not a splitter. It will not work from a single lnb .
yep cheers Ian thought it was worth a try its for a neighbour has got a twin lmb but will be a pain to get another cable to it oh well

Technically there is a way to use a twin lnb with a single cable but you need to install a bit of hardware called a stacker de stacker costing about £90
It basically shifts the frequencies to allow them down the single cable and shifts them back at the other end. @chadda
