whats better for N lines CCCam or mgcamd ?

hi all
was doing a bit of reading tonight and was reading about people on N lines having better service (less glitching) when using mgcamd rather than CCCam

is this basic rule of thumb for all N lines or is it server dependant ?

Use Mgcamd for nlines were possible

I use mgcamd over cccam, I much prefer it.

It requires a small amount more knowledge to setup than cccam though.

When you post your n: line into your config file you delete the n: and instead put

CWS = yourdetails

mgcamd all day for me aswell,regards mdt

Do any of you guys use Mgcamd for your sealions ?

i use mgcamd1.38 wuth my Nline server, also use cccam2.3.0, can switch between either....prefer mgcamd though,

I have done in the past, and have noticed no difference

I usually switch myself to keep like to like,but was just curious

Well lately I have been using Oscam as it's great for spreading the load

I do use Mgcamd for the channels that use keys though,

I was just curious as I like to keep as informed as possible

yet to play with oscam on my own box admittedly, may be I should get out of the dark ages lol

i use Mgcamd 1.38 for N,s and C**am 2.2.1 for C,s as a client ans both outgoing using Oscam with my card,regards mdt

yes m8 but i use my uno as a dedicated server in the bedroom on 28.2e and my dr hd f15 as my watching/faffing box,regards mdt

Hi Everyone
Is there a setup guide on the site for mgcamd on a DM800 clone (I have downloaded mgcamd to my box, but were do I put my nline?). At the moment I am using an nline with cccam but I thought I would give mgcamd a try as everywhere I read says that this will improve ecm times, is this correct? (I am only a client server)?

You put your line in the file called newcamd.list which is located in /usr/keys/ You replace the N with CWS, example below. Top two lines are normally always there.

oscam is far the best. at least oscam solves the double CW problem which causes freezing.
