help please with dreambox 800se and tecnomate motor

hello , im having major problems with my technomate motor , cant seem to get it to move at all , please can someone help me thankyou , big nooooooob thanks

you will need to explain a little better than that, what have you tried, what image you using, basically everything you know so someone can try and help you!

ok mate i have a technomate tm 2300 motor , a clone dm800se using digitalworldz slim2se

1. Was setup working before? If so what has changed?
2. Was the motor confirmed working before you started using the receiver?
3. Have you setup the receiver to use a motorised dish?
4. Did you input the correct lat/long for your location?

it is a new motor , the problem is that its supposed to have an led light working on that and thats not even on , how can i test the motor? my long an lat is seems correct , how do i set up the reciever for a motorised dish ?thanks for your help mate

If the led light is not working then either the cable feed from the box to the motor is fecked or the motor itself is a dud

also try an alternate power source for the box, i had one that didnt power the motor.

sorry mate , you were right i must not have configured usals right , i was using the advanxced setup , but when i changed it to simple it came alive lol.. my lat is 51.65 and long is 0.260 ..which satellite shall i aim for ? , im using the sat finder on the box , the signal jumps around .. do i have to move the motor attached to the pole as well as the dish ? thanks mate

right i have managed to fix on a satellite but it is supposed to be thor , but it is actually sirus , does anyone know how to change it please thanks

first find your due south sat which is 1w im guessing.lock and scan once you have 1w then tighten everything up.

i wouldnt worry what you have scanned or not just find your due south 1st.

if your not in the middle of the arc you miss a lot of sats.

ok mate so my motors at 0 and the dish is pointing due south , do i adjust th motor on the pole by hand , or do i just adjust the dish ? thanks mate , very noobish i know lol

Have you already set your motor's elevation?
When your dish is attached to your motor's pole is it perpendicular to the pole?

If above is ok then you now need to send the dish to 28.2e,from the box,as thats a strong satellite,
once there you then need to move the whole thing (Dish and Motor together ) either left or right, bit by bit to tweak the signal,
you may also need to move the dish only up or down slightly

mate top man !!!set it at south swung it round on the motor to 28.2 and picked up loads , your a legend !! now if i want to pick up uk freesat , do i just do an automatic scan or is there more procedures ?? thanks again

You can just do an automatic scan or load a channel list

If its about obtaining certain channels then no m8,sorry
If its a genuine bit of info you are after then its also better to keep it on the forum as at least it helps others who may have the same problems
