Hi all ive just put oscam in my dm500 pli im trying to clear pick tv i am looking around but not to sure about configs ?

You will need the following files in var/tuxbox/config

oscam.conf
oscam.services
oscam.server
oscam.user

They will obviously also need configuring. Check your PM

The only file i dont seem to have is services but totally lost with the cfgs lol.

thanx for that file m8 but im still bit lost i must have to edit the other files somehow im after using oscam to read the card and share it with cccam so i can reshare it again ?

well here is the files you want. You will need to add your boxkey to oscam.server in the relevant place and use your own username and password in cccam.cfg and oscam.user (must match obviously). I'm sure this will help many get it working but in the long run will ultimately lead to more problems as no reading up has been done and no proper understanding of it been learned. My advice to you and others is to spend time reading up and learning how it works. Like anything else once you get your head around it it is fairly straight forward.

You will also need to port forward 17050 to your dreambox

thanx again i will have a look when i get home from work

all sorted thanx now clearing pick tv and i have learned a few things about oscam but as i mess with it im sure i will learn more cheers m8.

Are you using oscam to read the card and still using to cccam for sharing?

Did you just delete the card details from cccam cfg?

I

yes it does, in the web interface it displays cached ECM's for each user connected

for some reason i cant enter the web page any ideas ?

[webif]
HttpPort = 10001
HttpUser = xxxxxxx
HttpPWD = xxxxxxx
HttpRefresh = 10
HttpAllowed = 192.168.1.1-192.168.2.100

the ip of my laptop is in that range

The setup I supplied in this thread used oscam to read the card and re-shared using camd35. I also supplied a cccam.cfg for cccam at the client end to connect using an L line to the camd35 protocol but it does not have be to cccam.

So the cccam has to use the L line at the client end, not C line as it is at present?

Do the F lines in cccam have to be changed at the pier (server) end?

I was thinking it might be possible leave cccam as is & use oscam to read the card.
Would this be possible?

yse just have l line in cccam to oscam and then just normal f lines in cccam
