see if you can find another version of dreamup,

did you flash erase before flashing new img. or are you trying to flash with an fw2 backup

need a patched version of dreamup as i take it the 500 is a clone

Hi mate. Try using the attached copy of DreamUP. My 500S is a clone and this did the trick, it's an older version the newer ones didn't seem to work.

for different dreamboxes need diferent dreamup version ,to work,if your box
500s not clone.use this version dreamup v 1.3.3.4 it should work or try with clone
it might work or like Smok3y666 say try his copy.
same thing apply for dream control center.in your case you need dream control center v 2.82 for ftp etc------------

I had this issue when I built a new PC recently with Windows 7, didnt have a copy of dreamup so i downloaded a few versions...and got the same issue.

Clone 500 recievers dont work with DreamUP versions above 1.3.3.4 . I used 1.3.3.4 and everything works fine with this version.
