Clone or original?

well i think I'm after an original as I've read somewhere that the clones come pre installed with a version of the image that you can't upgrade or it bricks the box which is kind of defeating the object with the dream linux boxes that we all love faffing with.
The other question is, do they all come with dual sat tuners or are they 1 sat tuner and one terrestrial one or can you specify what the second one is.. when i've looked around they seem to be offering different things and not stating that these are not clones.

Dm800 only has 1 tuner mate, your thinking of the dm8000 which has twin tuners.

And double the price!
Don't know where you got that info from but it's rubbish.You can load any patched image on to a clone,there are loads to choose from.
DM8000 can have 4 tuners

Big difference between the clone DM800 and originals mate.
Cloners have practically perfected all other DM machines but IMO they have a while to go before they can compete with the real DM800 hardware.

ive got a clone and its fine had HD channels glitches but a inline amp sorted that out and ive never looked back
