SQLite on Dm500 Performance

Hi guys,
I am looking for some feedback on running a sqlite epg on a Dm500s.
I have the Radiotimes guide running on my 500s and the resultant database is stored on a mounted hard drive on my pc.
I can only store 1 days epg at a time (~2.5MB),any larger than 4MB and the box freezes up .
It works pretty well but the problem occurs if I watch foreign sats like 19E or 13E.
The database starts incorporating these listings into it and the resultant file size can be huge,well over 6MB.
The receiver just freezes up and I have to delete the .db file and start again.
I presume this is due to a lack of memory on the 500s but is this a standard issue ?
I have seen people running a 7 day epg on the DM600 and it does have extra memory (96MB vs 32MB ) so I guess it could work well on the 600 .
Does anyone run the Radiotimes or Rytec epg's and what kind of performance are you seeing as I think I might have to upgrade my receiver .

I dont run SQLite myself, but from what i've gathered it isnt stable with anymore than 3 days worth of EPG sue to RAM limitiations.
DM600 manages to run a full 7 day EPG with SQLite.

Yes anymore than 1 days epg and my box locks up .About 4.5Mb seems to be the point at which it becomes unstable.
I also think that running the Sqlite epg is using up valuable memory resources that could be effecting the performance of cccam.
Its doing my head in at this stage ,the 500s is freezing up every few hours and needs constant reboots,it if continues I will be booting it out the window !
I think an upgrade to a Dm600 will be my next bet ,the Dm800 is too expensive and the 800 clones are too unreliable.
I dont need HD anyway ,just want a stable box with sufficient memory to run a good epg and allow recording.

Just ordered a Dm600 clone off Yaoxin for 93 euro ,good price for an upgrade ,the Dm500 just isnt cutting the mustard.

Thats a decent price, xrates says thats around £ 81.60. Is that price for delivered Dm600 with a DVB S tuner ?

Yes,inc delivery and has a DVB-S tuner .
Had a choice of DHL,UPS or EMS for delivery,all inc in price.
I chose EMS as less likely to get hit by customs.
I got it on Alibaba Express .

I also changed the image on my 500s from Jade 3 to Open Pli and it seems to be more stable .
I dont see many differences between the images ,just more stable.
