Been working fine for a week, now getting this error on the lcd screen " -> error! " (nothing else)

dreamup wont upload flashloader correctly (gets no ack).

Behind the scenes its doing this:
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Then nowt.

Now if u press power it will try to boot to tftp.

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

So I installed a tftp /dhcp server.

Now it will boot and copy a file (tried a nfi file but it looks like wrong sort of thing to boot)

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

So my question is : any ideas how to either fix this or what file I need to boot via tftp ?

ok seems like the enforcer method will work for this - now just hunting for a file that isnt too big for dreamup.

Sounds like you flashed a non-patched image on your box. I flashed the latest original PLI image and got an error like yours (bootloader error) dream up would not flash any BL... searched the web, and found the latest PLI image, but patched for clones... Dream up flashed that fine, and presto, worked like a charm!

Your error may be related to something else, but its damn similar to what i experianced.

Cheers - I had black hole for clones on it for over a week. Now trying to find a image that will go onto it withouth dreamup (enforced) saying "file to big".

Ok so quick update, can't get past the dreamup error.

However once the enforcer / bootloader is installed I CAN flash via HTTP gui

However once flash reaches 100% and I pull power to box, when it reboots it goes straight back to "error"

any ideas ? tried a vairety of sim 2.01 and non sim images so far to no avail whatsoever.

??????

did you ever get this sorted mate as im in exactly the same position right now, tried allsorts to no avail!

Check your SIM version, i.e: open the box and bake sure it is a SIM 2.01, or Ferarri or maybe even the E-Star SIM.

Reseat the SIM in the socket and reflash with a image which includes the correct bootloader for your SIM, could be you are flashing for example a SIM2.01 bootloader and image to a E-STAR SIM, which will not work...

Sorry m8, I think I sent it back to China, they replaced it. Haven't really had enough airtime with 800s to be honest.
