DM800 Starting...

Hi all,

Has anyone had any issues when booting up the DM800 ?

I've found that if I leave the box in standby when I turn it off from the wall, the next time I turn on the plug, the box gets "stuck" when booting & only "Dream Mulimedia" LCD logo is displayed.

I have to turn off the box by the wall for a few seconds & back on again to make the box boot up properly.

Pressing the standby button on the remote, or the power button on the front of the box has no effect.

Anyone else experience this ?

I had the same problem as you, only got my box Monday this week, spent all day Tues getting it set up & when I booted it up on Wed, got stuck on the LCD screen, so restarted it & it has not worked since, nothing in the LCD screen, funny thing is the ethernet light lights up but nothing else!!!!

take the plug out and leave it for 10 secs then put it back in, or take it out and put it back quickly.

I always have that problem

fairly common issue chris, pity coz its a super box

Ok M8, will try that out but dont hold out much hope.

You mean the plug from wall socket or power supply from back of box?

When you say fairly common you mean all clones, most clones or from a specific factory have the problem?

I have the issue with my original where you have to pull it out and put it in quick
