My DM800 freezes as shown in the picture, ive tried every boot loader from ss53-ss72

The box has previously been working but just stoped booting and started freezing upon boot.

ive used the following images to name but a few.

Nabilo_BlackHole_DM800_RC1.nfi
gemini2-440-dm800_ss69 modified by jams01.nfi
nabilov6bootloader67.nfi
pli-enigma2-jade3-dm800-20090719-6555_8a8f8.nfi
NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-DM800

I am using dreamup 1.3.3.2 to flash the DM800
even with the recover bad sectors option on in dreamup

I get no error like "no ca found"

I have tried looking for the fault using hypterm (the boot log is below)

Has anybody had this problem before and managed to fix it?

or any sugestions on how to fix it?

the box has a sim that enables boot loader 72 in it,

so i dont think its a boot loader problem as i dont get the "no ca found" error

try disconectiong the dvi cable.....

boot the box....

if it boots, reconect the dvi cable.......

The box is not conected to anything only power during the boot process

Have you tried restarting multiple times? Mine has froze a few times but a quick reboot fixes it?

I assume you have tried a complete re-flash using DreamUp?

The box is not conected to anything only power during the boot process

Why? So it's not got any signal or anything?
jUST POWER CABLE?
Have you tried it with lnb all connected?

Id also try re flash, do mine using web interface.

Is it an original or clone?

had mine freezing on boot thismorning just reflashed using the http method
power of box / take out pwr lead / plug the lead back in and hold the power button on the front untill dhcp and your ip comes up / goto your pc and type in
http://192.168.1.and yours in here you will have a web page come up and click on the flash button / select the nfi file u want to flash and click on flash/upgrade
wait till its 100% and then turn off/on your box and it should boot with the image you have chossen
then set it up how you like it , hope this helps

i flash mine through a router and gigabit switch with no problems

u having any luck with your irlam, having same probs now with nanis

I'm having a similar problem with a Dm800 HD Clone.

It was working fine aside from a few minor issues, so I flashed with NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-**********************.nfi & updated the bootloader to SecondStage-72-R1-DM800-**********************.nfi

I then went into updates and it downloaded about 30 updates and I restarted the box.

I got the following error on boot: ERR01: NO CA FOUND

I can reload the SecondStage-72-R1-DM800-**********************.nfi
file through Dreamup, but this error 'System message - hardware could not be verified - contact Dreambox support '

I can't load the box in standby by holding in the power button so can't access the web interface.

It won't recognise NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-**********************.nfi through Dreamup so I can't reflash.

Has anyone else experienced this and how did you rectify?

Thanks

The flash worked, but I now have this error on boot:

dhcp...
/flash/bootlogo.elf

I've tried booting a few times - going to leave it for tonight unless anyone has seen this error before?

Cheers

Try irlam's suggestion first but if it fails try to go back & flash bootloader 72 (null modem) first than flash nabilosat again using the pdf guide method,....

Hi, Could some post a link to the second stage bl72-r1.
My box is hanging at boot like the picture.
Thanks

I'm nearly there - fixed that problem by re-flashing twice.

I just to load/update the ccam - > I can't find it on the menu anywhere

My box info:

Enigma Version: HEAD-Jul 5 2009
Image Version: dev-2009-06-27
Bootloader:SecondStage-72-R1-DM800-**********************.nfi
Image: NabiloBlackHole-11-BL72-**********************.nfi

If I press the blue button, I get to Nabilosat Blue panel that say's - 1 CAM installed
Set default CAM
Common interface
Active CAM common interface -> details of BBC channel I'm watching.

Four option at the top:

Keys
Autocam
Info
Settings

Can anyone tell me how to update using this image?

Thanks

try the green button,..I'm using cccam 2.1.1 with nabilosat blackhole, after that there are other things you should setup to get your box running sweet,..like setting up the epg, press radio & look for hiphop then press ok & wait until it's finnished downloading program data.

Green button brings me to Nabliostat Green panel with 4 options:

ccam info -> Nab E2 CCam info -> Main, Active clients, clients, servers, shares, providers, entitlements & setup

F.Plug

Addon

Script

Remote still really unresponsive so it can take a few minutes for me to select any given option

Ok Chose Addon's/Download manager->

Nab E1 Image Cams - > brings me to a list of Image cams

1st one = CCcam 2.0.10 Complete (Nabilosat E2)

I've successfully installed this newest one - do I just need to re-edit the cccam.cfg and restart box??

I now have 2 x CAM's installed under Nab Blue panel.

Uploaded the R1 loader doesn't seem to have made a difference - how can I double check??

right so, if you have C:lines you can pop them into your cccam.cfg file, delete all the other rubbish in there first.
How I do it is,...use flashfxp to connect to the box, to do this you'll need the current box ip ,username=root,password=dreambox,..then look for & open the "etc" folder & right click on cccam.cfg then chose edit,..I use MSword to edit my file,..type in you cline then save & exit MSword,..when word closes you'll see a popup box asking if you want to upload the edited file to the box,..so yes.
