Just had a play around with it and theres not that much of a difference from 3.3

One thing I did however notice then when I was re-tuning sats via motor setup that when i went onto 28 and was moving the dish whilst having bbc1 on in the background it reported a high signal and a lock but no picture came through. I exited the menu and played around with channels on 28 but received the "turning motor" and "service not found" messages frequently.

I put iTV 1 Scotland on, went back into motor setup, and although I had saved the previous locked signal as sat 1, I was getting a very low signal here. I moved around until It locked and I got a decent signal on ITV 1 then exited the menu, tried a few channels on 28 and all was fine.

With any other image previous to this I can put BBC1 on in the background while saving sat settings and the picture breaks through behind the menu while Im doing it, It seems on this- that is not the case and Im having to come right out of the menu and change onto another channel on the sat before it clears.

Somewhat of a step backward with regards to being user friendly but hopefully that's balanced off with some extra reliability.

Onto one other thing: something that always irritated me on gemini was when i was slowly going down one of my bouquets the bouquet menu would suddenly stutter for a second or two and shift right back up to the very first channel on the list, can be slightly annoying to say the least(esp if the channels are alphabetical and you need to zap all the way back down to "M" etc).

This happened frequenty since Gem 2.8 or so, and im flying through my bouquets atm fine, without this niggling annoyance so thats a nice welcome surprise.

Only played with it for a little while, overall . . pretty similar and pretty solid.

Gemini team was loose some coders, so when coders gone, codes goes with them and if they don't have a backup....... : shocked2
