Same way as any ipk

Transfer to the temp folder via ftp

Fire up a telnet session and run this command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

I'm trying to extract the plugins to install in Kodi Jarvis....
how do I open and extract from a .ipk file ??
I have Kodi Jarvis running on an Amazon Fire tv stick....
I'm looking for plugins with the .zip extension from Kodidirect which are compatible with Kodi jarvis or isengard...

An ipk file is a install file.

FTP the ipk file to the tmp directoy at the root of your image.

Start a telnet session on Puttytel or DCC login and use this command to install it.

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

Once installed you can download the addons you want via the plugin

All I want are the .zip plugins inside of the .ipk file... do you have older complete versions of the kodidirect file, I'm looking for certain adult plugins ?
Will the .ipk file actually install in my Amazon fire stick or any box running Kodi ? I've never ftp or telnet into a Kodi box before...

There not within the plugin you download them. But of you would like to take a look inside an ipk file the easiest way is to install 7-ZIP

How do I get a listing of the contents of the .ipk file and is there a way to only extract the plugins that I want out of it ?

None exist open it with 7-Zip and see.

Ok, so how do I get into my Kodi via ftp and then telnet in to install the .ipk file...
Is the a posting or feed that sheds light on this ?
I don't have a login for my Kodi, I only open the app and run it...
Sorry but I'm a bit of a newbie to this method of accessing my Kodi box but I'm very very interested at this point...
If you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it...

It seems Ferret deemed my post on here useless, I only stated that Kodi is shite on zgemma boxes and prefer to use it on an android box whats wrong with that, It could be deemed helpful as it will not waste peoples times setting it up on the Zgemma FERRET.
