long story short but my mate burst his cable for his box so decided to try an old one he had lying about....
when he plugged it in it started smoking badly and as a result its melted the on/off switch on the back of the box, so....
1. is the box likely to be damaged anywhere else like the board etc?
2. if its not where would I be able to purchase a new switch cable....its the red/black cable with the switch at one end and a little white connector at the other that goes to the power inlet??
3. if its goosed wheres best for another....dm800se v2 I think?
