DM800SE Sim2.2 Clone V2 - Image

Hi All

Complete Noob to all this, sadly my dreambox V1 died and I always used rats image (easy)

Now I understand that I can’t use the above image (I did try) and downloaded an image from the ‘DM800SE Sim2.2 V2 Image.’ Downloads section.

Issue I have many of them don’t work (just tried the latest BlackHole) stuggling to put my Cline in. So I currently using OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm800seV2 SSL

With little knowledge I have scanned 28.2 and ftp rats Rat’s Bouquets and Picons.

Cross EPG - as soon as I try to update it starts then goes straight off again nothing downloaded.

Picons on the front (How do I do this)

Can I ask if we have an image like Rat PLi 4.0 image available for my Dreambox 800SE

How have you got crossepg setup ? OpenTV or rytec source ?

The issue you are having is because libcurl is not installed. To solve issue try the following:
Uninstall Cross epg
Telnet to box and type: opkg update
Once it has updated packages then type: opkg install libcurl
Once installed download crossepg via plugins and it should work now

I'm glad it helped you solve your Crossepg issue. By default OPENPLi won't install the libcurl dependency for Crossepg as they try to run the image lean as possible. I have also had this issue with Italysat images but the same steps work as well.
 
Hope I can ask the question here for 'Picons on OLED' just read the link from Bobby123

1st - How do I create the folder 'skin_user.xml'
2nd - Would I then use filezilla to transfer the folder to /usr/share/engima2/

Sorry for being such a noob
