anyone point me in the right direction for mgcamd 1.38 (and how to install) I just changed image to open pli I used to be able to install it through tspanel but this image doesn't seem to have this......while your there maybe u could point me to that too ;)

PREM have you gone to memu plaging download comedown to sotfcams mgcam in there if it is press ok to install then come out that press blue buton softcam setup move left or right than restart cam that what ive done with alimac image

Hello friends, i also have being trying to get Mgcamd work on DM800HD Se clone sim2 with TS Media 3. I already downloade cccam 2.3.0 and Mgcam 1.38C fron blue panal. I want to know where i have gone wrong or what i missed should be done. Thanks.
I want to use cline with MGcamd.

I thought you put the line in the newcamd.list file
 
That IP addess for the logging will cause issues.

If using Newcamd protocol, newcamdlist
If using CCcam protocol, cccamd.list

This is some information about how to add C & N lines to mgcamd.
This particular post will refer to its use for the Azbox, but can be adopted to use with other receivers using Enigma and Enigma2.
The location of the files will depend on the image you use. In linux they will be in /var/keys or /usr/keys or something similar.
For the Azbox, all files will be found in the folder /PLUGINS/OpenXCAS/mgcamd which makes things extremely simple and is why I selected that receiver.

There are 3 important files needed for sharing:

mg_cfg
cccamd.list
and
newcamd.list

To allow mgcamd to share from both CCcam and Newcs, you must ensure that in the file mg_cfg, you edit the settings for the value of G: { x }

Settings are cumulative, you sum the values of the emus you want to connect to.. Have a quick look, but don't dwell on it.

Set G: { 33 }

Simple so far? it gets easier..

Edit cccamd.list and paste in a C-line as normal e.g.

C: myfriend.dyndns.com 12000 myname mypass

close and save.

Edit newcamd.list

You may see something like:

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

leave that alone..

If someone gives you an N-line like this
N: myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

add it to the end of the newcamd.list like this:

CWS = myfriend.dyndns.com 15000 myname mypass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server1

Close and save

Restart mgcamd.

One thing I have noticed is you want to change B: { 00 }
to B: { 06 } for the cam to to keep starting when rebooted.
 
Hmmm I have issue installing this on a VU+ duo clone box running black hole

I put the IPK file into the temp and install from thr VU+
but it seems to have the cam and I can enter the line details in,,,,but all of the set-up files are missing

do you have to manually install them or have I got a poor ipk file??

Some ipk wont include the cfgs so as not to over write when going from one version of the cam to another.
