crossepg not loading?

everytime epg tries to update it just hangs on reading titles at 195kb, and everytime I have to reboot box from back but when turned back on epg has still not updated....anyone any ideas??

Does it load to USB ? if so what I do is format it in the laptop fat32 ftp the picons over, put back in the receiver and reboot
then run Crossepg again

works for me if it ever fails

cheers rat just tried that but still the same,if I leave it they do eventually upload but it takes around 10mins just a pain in the ass really, there saved to usb so it cant be to do with space.

Try HDD and see if its still the same, and a clean install of crossepg works for me when all else fails

Used to take about a minute and a half on my SE stored on a 16GB usb

what Image you using ?

Also set it to download early morning then if it does take 10 minutes it dont matter as you will be ZZZZzzzzzzzz

but I do see it hangs at times

What is your setup? Is it fixed 28.2 for Sky, multisat or cable?

If it's something other than 28.2 for sky then I assume you're using xmltv because if I remember correctly there was a problem with something to do with xmltv.

Not saying this will cure your problem mate but unistall crossepg then install this version

I run this version on every e2 box and more from my signature and have no issues at all with it.

Me neither. Running latest version without issue. Never have had issue with it.

there were a number of posts on many forums ,different images etc even 2 of my vu boxes had issues with the daily auto update,but manual update would populate the channels.all my boxes have micro usb setup for epg and my 2 other boxes worked.

There was but I never had this problem.

I was using openTV 28.2 via CrossEPG.

I do know there was xmltv issues.

i only use opentv 28.2 and crossepg
