im trying to download crossepg on dw v1.1 image:
crossepg_0.6.2 when I press green to install im getting wget server returned error: http/1.1 404 not found perhaps run opkg update?

but when I try to run the update im now getting the same error

is there a easy fix or should I reflash image?

cheers.

Will the internal flash memory be enough to run the EPG or must you use USB or HDD?

deffo do not use memory mate crossepg downloads about 14 mb data

will wipe memory even without plugins

use usb or hard drive

Could you store epg in memory if you have a larger flash memory say 500mb

Sent from my HTC One

yes mate you could do not 100% if adviseable but cannot see why not

I always thought the epg deleted every day after downloading the new epg data which would only be 15mb extra

it probably does not sure but loads of memory their to play with

but example 800se would get wiped out on first run as poor memory other storage a must on those

The newer V2 models have 1gb of flash memory, but I would still use a USB or hdd like you and I said. :)

dont really see point in using usb or hd if not needed

i need to on my 800 &800se but with ibox i use its memory for the lot no issues as yet

Im going to try it today see how it gos over a week, were do you put the picons in flash

I would think about updating your image :)
there are plenty of backups out there now

I was thinking about it, but when I got this box over a year ago I tried to flash quite a few images onto it but for some reason it didn't like any apart from the v1.1,
every other image was either crashing or just freezing, not sure if that would have been an image problem or a box problem...I might try again, what would u recommend? ill certainly try the one u posted above for starters:Cheers:
