[DM800HD] Dm800

Sorry guys I'm a newbie
I have a DM800 which was working with gift. Then it stopped. The guy who sold it disappeared. When I switch it on it says openpli. What do I need to do to get this box working again. Do I need to start again? if so can you please help

Hi Thanks Will give it a go

Can you point me in the right direction to a walk through where I can start from scratch. Its all very confusing which is the best software to use for this box. I would like to learn more. Again thanks for your help its why I joined up to support this forum

Well still trying getting so far. Managed to get Dcc talking but when i go to CCcam file I see the previous c-line. It will not let me change it to the new on any ideas please

just delete everything in Cccam.cfg and paste your new line in, reset box and all should be good.

thanks Tried that, deleted cccams file replaced with new one but it wont let me over write the file. cannot figure why

I just replaced my mates yesterday but I use FileZilla done in seconds,

are you going into /etc then Cccam.cfg right click open delete all info then paste your line, restart box if needed

thanks a lot. Sorry Im very new to this. I think you've cracked it it appears to put in the new c line. I got really confused until I managed to put in the right password. During that time i did a factory reset so just down loading channels now. As a matter of interest what is the best image these days for DM800

theres far more educated peoplethan me on here to answer that question but I'm using openpli 4.2 I think it is and have had no problems.

Well I got the info in place. The box is not correct after factory reset so I'm trying flash the box. It won't flash until I clear the message upload complete waiting for acknowledgment. Any ideas. I see lots of questions on the net but no answers

Ok. One of your guys sorted out my problem with putting in the c line ( password problem)
i think I've messed up the box after factory reset. So I was trying to re flash the box with dream up. I can only get as far as upload complete waiting for acknowledgment. Hence the last post.

Might be a good idea to open the box up and see what sim card you have in the box before flashing another image
