[DM800HD] sounds goes after a while

I have a DM800 Clone running ATV 4.1 - only installed it last week from the base image from here so not added any plugins

I have noticed over past few days, the sounds goes on the box and have to re start the box for it come back

I know I would probably best try another image, but was wondering if anyone else has had same issue.

Not had that mate and did a fresh install sunday on my old 800 but it was 4.2 and not 4.1. As you fear youll probably save time reflashing than trying to discover the problem if it is software related.

I tried different image same problem however whilst dm800 is on and i turn tv off then tv back on the sound goes any ideas

Try a different hdmi cable and port on the telly and if that fails then maybe try the digital audio (I think it's called a tos cable )

tried different HDMI port same problem however the image I had before I install ATV 4.1 never had this problem, the latest image I have tried is VTI

May try an older image like one of the Black Hole ones.

I have tried around 6 images and get same problem, so can only assume its the dvi cable that is faulty

it was a dodgy dvi to hdmi cable

Something i noticed when watching a BBC channel i get a voice over like a narrator talking which i assume is something to the sound or audio i have selected. Any idea's on how i can change this

If you go into the audio selection and pick a different audio stream the narration will stop. The audio button is the round one to the left of the ok button (on my remote anyway)
