[DM800HD] No service

Can anyone help me.i have no signal on my dreambox 800hd,,is this due to dish or internet.I haven't done anything different and don't know how to get it working again

Do FTA channels work ? If not under menu setup service searching there is a sat finder option !

Is it showing signal strength ?

Hi it has no channels and can't find satellite but all new to me .did search for satellite and none found

Do you have another box you can test on the dish ?

Have you setup the tuner in Menu-setup-service searching tuner config

I have gone into tuner configuration and it's says
tuner a.alps bsbE2(dvd-s2)
postioner . USALS

then config mode. Simple
mode. Postioner
longitude. 003.400 west
latitude. 053.300 north
extra motor option. No
i live in north wales and only have single Ljb on 80 cm movable dish

when i do auto scan it doesn't find any channels

Are those coordinates correct for your post code ?

Hi not sure if you got my other email but how do I find out what the co ordinaries are ment to be for north wales

go to dishpointer website put your post code in and it will give you Latitude Longitude

if dish on 28.2e

try setting up as static

ignore motor settings

Did you manage to solve your problem with not having signal? I have the same issue, although I just have 1 fixed dish and I have configured that way (I don't need the coordinates at all)

Goto menu/setup/service searching/sat finder.
Have you got a lock on the satellite?

I think the tuner must have something, because I've checked the signal level from the dish with another decoder (with 90% signal) and with the dm800hd in that menu, I don't have any signal at all

Time for a new box (maybe an upgrade?)

Yes, I'm looking forward to that. A workmate gave me a bricked Lonrisun Solo2 and I'm trying to fix, but if not, I think I'll go for one of those (but Sunray)
