[DM800HD] Bouquet problem + CrossEPG problem

Afternoon guys,

I've updated my DM800HD clone box this morning to this image.

I then installed the following addon's:-

MGcamd 1.38c-ssl1.0
CrossEPG 0.8.1
Rats PICON updater

Once all the plugins are installed and the box has been rebooted, i then ftp'ed the catseye bouquets i use to the box and reboot again. The problem is that once rebooted, all the bouquets are in place however all the channel names within them now show as N/A and won't allow for being watched. I have found that in order to fix this i've had to also do a manual scan on the satellites being used so i can live with that for now.

I did also try copying across an updated satellites.xml file to the box but this doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Any suggestions on what is causing this problem?

Additionally i have a problem with CrossEPG 0.8.1, i installed it and then updated the xepgdb providers, then selected the following xepgdb providers:-

Rytec France XMLTV
Rytec Germany/Austria/Swiss XMLTV
Rytec Spain XMLTV
Rytec UK XMLTV

I then rebooted the box again and once rebooted, pressed the blue button and then press ok on "CrossEPG Downloader", the following messages then appear at the bottom of the screen:-

Starting downloader
Starting importer
Starting converter

This only takes a few seconds with nothing appearing to be downloaded. Any idea what is wrong here?

personally would send in a channel list with dreamset

as for crossepg there are a few things to try not always successful on crossepg 0.8.1

a better version is 0.7.4 as works fine

any idea where can get version 0.7.4 m8?

Edit - Dreamset has fixed the other issue

version 0.7.4 seems to be causing my box to crash with green screen. Just going to try reflashing and start from scratch and see if that fixes it.

0.7.4 installed however once i try to run it, i get the following stages appear on screen all within a few seconds of each other again...


Starting downloader
Starting importer
Starting converter
Loading data

Nothing appears to have been downloaded at all. Any other ideas?

how did you install it ?

did you do it this way

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

I used this command:-

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk
