Dreambox 800 HD PVR - Cloning to another 800 HD PVR

Hey all,

I'm new to the 'dreambox' world!

One of my mates runs his sat tv through a dreambox 800 HD PVR.

I've recently purchased my own box, and would like to have the exact setting and all as his unit. (pretty much identical to what he has)

Is this possible?

I'm a n00b, so any help is much appreciated!

assuming you know how to flash an image or you can get your friend to help you, get your friend to do an image backup and just flash his backup onto your box

the guide you have linked to that mick wrote is just the standard way you'd flash a different image onto your box
