DBUK image 2.1.1

wifey is driving me nuts,

just reflashed box with the DB 2.1.1 Image which is excellent

only change from the last db image that is displeasing the wife is on the bouquet epg, there used to be a second info bar at the top which told you what was on next as u scrolled down the channels.....

it is no more
i've searched through the image and can't see anywhere to turn this on

any suggestions would be great

Have you looked for a plugin called cool tv guide that may help you with this, and if not you can remove it again look in download section it's in there.

we have ours set to no timeout so you have to hit ok to get rid of it.

I dont kknow if the skin has changed from last image ? but the skin has to support the second infobar too

I use the standard pli hd image.
Goldie won't have a skin without it.

i dont recall this feature in the image.

secondinfobar just shows you sat details /ecms etc.
not now and next.

This is most likely a feature of the skin, what skin were you using?

I use LT6-HD which I've modified to display the next program info when browsing through the bouquet.

You can also download VirtualZap which allows you to browse now/next with the current bouquet without actually changing channels.

hmm am stumped
i downloaded cool tv and don't see the activation for the top info bar system
@iamaleaf - not sure what skin exactly was defo DBUK hd maybe 2.1 - i never flashed it so not sure

looks like the exact same skin with the exception of the boot logo, (similar) and instead of the new symbol for the box thinking or loading previous had cogs turning...

what i'm looking for -
when i pull the down button and it gives me the channel selection for a particular bouquet - i.e. sly sport 1, 2,3 4 etc at the right had side it gives you program info
previosly also told you what was on next at the top of the screen.

use your cross epg downloader then press ok on a channel and see if they start to
appear tam.
i think the 2.1.1 comes with the army ghost skin builkt in

im sure 2.1 was standard pli skin as default
2.1.1 + 2.1.2 is the modded army skin (plus further mods by myself) as default

still nothing

but when i pull down for chan list i liked the wee bit at the top that told u what was on next.... no info just what was next

i removed all buttons mappings from v1.1
you cant please everyone so i left it to the user to decide what they want by using multiquickbutton

tam all she needs do is highlight the channel she wants
by pressing down or up ,then press info.
