Hello all,
Any help will be appreciated.
I flashed Boot 84A and Image for 84A but the DM800 was really slow, crash a lot of times (green screen) and it didn't use to pick my External Hard Disk.
I then flashed boot 82 and an image for 82. The box is working really fast now, it always picks up the External Hard Disk, I have cross EPG now, this image is great but the issue is there are no extra plug-ins or extensions I can download for that image. The yellow button on the remote is set for Time-shift (I hate Time-shift) I want to set the yellow button to change Audio Stream but don't know how to do that.
So, Please can you tell me for DM800-S HD Clone (1)A stable image which will work with boot 82 as I think boot 84 will make my DB work really slow. (2) Will have Cross EPG/Multi EPG (3)Will always pick up my External Hard Disk (4) Will have Yellow remote button set to change Audio stream (5) Will have Kerni HD skin or Will let me download new extensions and plugins.

Hi mate..I know you said #82 but you could try this image>> *******-Dreamelite-BlackHole_PHOENIX_DM800HD-SIM2-SSL84 >it has all you have requested and more..Im using it on my DM800HD Pro and its working like a charm.I have tried many others and they seem to cause alot of crashing etc..Give it a try,you might be surprised..

regards

Thanks very much for that dOOds.
Please can you confirm your DM800 has sim 2.0.1 installed?
Please can you post the link to the above image?

I also agree that the above image is one of the best, if not the best. Tried them all and i always come back to this.

DreamElite Phoenix was a great image and stable. A bit old hat these days though. I moved to PLI based images ages ago and wouldnt go back to DreamElite Phoenix now.
The gjstroom OpenPLI built from source and the DBUK images are both much better and more up to date.

The reason i want to move from de phoenix to pli is becuase yes its kinda old, timeshifting HD has its issues and the web ui of pli based images is alot better.

Tried both Pli and the pli based dbuk both are more complicated than they need to be imo.. although dbuk and their blue panel does make things easier. However after trying both, i still always come back to my original image.

It has everything you need, and is simple enough for the family to use without much complaining. lol

alot of members are slagging cccam 2.30 and an unsafe cam if your serving

i have read all this also...I must say though the people in the know still say "Show the proof" ...i turned to cccam 2.21 for a while because of this. But have not seen any unusual activity... Of course also you can download via TS panel Or blue/green panel 2.21 full..or before cams... Hope image works out ok..

Regards

Thanks to smirnoff_rules, I installed Ccam (2.14)it and now it is working fine.
The External Hard Disk, is the main reason I was looking for a stable image. The box reads the HD sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. When it read it I tried to map it. The box kept crashing (green screen) then I restarted it now it is not reading it at all.

I mapped HD via esata, Initialized it, created movie folder in hdd, now when I record I get this message "Write error while recording. Disk full?" I have connected the HD via USB as well but same results.

I have now tried loads of images for DM800-S HD Clone, I can confirm the ONLY image that (has Cross EPG and) reads my EXTERNAL ESATA Hard Disk all the time (again, all the time, every time!!) with no Error message is:
DreamboxUK_v1.1_ DM800_SIM201_SSL82.nfi
I am not going to change my image ever.
The only downside of this image is that Yellow button on the remote is mapped to perform Time-shift If somebody can help me to remap it (or how to change audio manually for this image) to change the audio stream I shall worship the person for the rest of me life. lol:thankz:

If you press the help button on the remote and scroll to the audio part it will allow to open up the audio menu

OR

go to Menu-Setup-System-Auto language Selection and change the options in there

OR

Install MultiQuick Button plugin and assign the buttons whatever way you choose :)

Thank you all for your help."respect"
wiz569, I am really grateful to you for this advice. :thnks:
I know now how to change audio stream manually and by using multi quick button plugin which I downloaded from TS Panel 4.8.
I can now say I have the perfect image. I can't thank you enough, you have no idea how pleased I am right now & how much the audio stream/hard disk recording meant to me.
