hard drive recording problem

hi chaps, got a problem, setup a hard drive for recording, got it all working and it records channels im on fine, timeshifts fine, but when i set a timed recording if its not on the right channel to record it doesnt zap to it and then start recording, the recording just fails, im using dream elite pheonix edition 1.33, i have set the recordings to take priority but it just doesnt record if its on another channel than the 1 i want to record.... any ideas!

hi, i wouldnt use dream elite pheonix edition 1.33 to record, its very glitchy, dont think dream elite pheonix edition 1.33 was tested for recording, i have tried openpli and recording is miles better, but dm800 does struggle recording, the high bitrate hd channels

it records perfect on the channels im actually watching though, its just if i am watching a different channel and iv set it to record another it doesnt seem to zap to it and record it, it makes a log in the pvr screen but it just says its o seconds long!

Have you formatted and tested the harddisk with the utility provided within the image. Sometimes this helps !

yeah mate i done that before i initialised it, funny 1 because it works fine if i just start recording a program or use timeshift, if i leave it on a channel i want to record something on then set the timer for something later in the day it will record fine, its only when i set a timer for a program, then put it on a different channel, that the recording fails!
