Never heard of a r0 or r1 m8,
that's the latest one as far as I know

I was wondering what this r1 was, lol

I thought plain old 84a was the latest myself.

I've flashed a few different images lately and noticed some had r1...also tspanel...sim2 list bootloader as r1...

It's probably another way of distinguishing between 84 and 84a

Like instead of saying SSL84 and SSL84a, they would call them SSL84 r0 and SSL84 r1 respectively?

Think so m8 but cannot confirm till tomorrow as it's a pain trying to do any type of serious Googling on a phone lol

See I can kinda see that...Apart from the sim2 bootloaders on tspanel show 84a-r1 rather than just 84r1 which is what they show for other models ie 500hd

Ok the only info I can find regarding this r0 and r1 is that the latest bootloader for the DM500HD clone is labeled ssl84a r1,and the latest patched clone drivers are labeled r0,but thats probably just to distinguish them from the others

not sure if the ssl for the DM800se are called 84a r1 in TS Panel as I dont have it installed sorry

If I get a box with ssl82 does it mean it can be upgraded using the above file? Or will I have to stick with ssl82 images? I should be ordering an 800se this week :)

You'll be able to upgrade it, mine also came with ssl82 but is now using ssl84a.
Good on you ordering one of these too, they are a huge improvement over the 800.
