Will be very intresting when this tuner hits the market especially if it just slots into exisitng DM800HD SE units ans DM500HD units...
Twin Satellite DVBS2. This is original Dream Multimedia not clone manufacturers. Clone manufacturers are currently testing a combo DVB C/S/T tuner..

Dream will be presenting at the Anga Cable show. At our stand (U9), the DM500 HD and DM800 HD se will be on show with an integrated hybrid tuner, which can be used for both digital cable and DVB-T reception. The Dreamboxes can be set for the desired form of reception at any time. Also, Dream will be presenting the prototype of a DVB S2 tuner with two inputs, meaning you no longer need to use a second tuner.

Thanks, thats great news, im thinking of getting a DM800se soon, this taking a Dual DVB S2 Tuner, would make it unbeatable box full stop, at the moment i got a dm800pro great box, didnt get a dm800se i know its faster but thats it ? but with dual tuner id for sure be getting one, wonder how much the clone dual tuner will be if its made ?, DM800se with dual tuner £200 box what a deal, would kill the Vu Duo and DM8000

Average price on Clone replacment tuners is 35 - 40 quid. This is a dual tuner so probably a bit more. Depends if Dream actually release it first though...they might not bother depends on marketing and whether the want to push other models.

if this comes out then the dm800se will be one very top box, but what would happen to the dm8000 ? cause its there only dual tuner hd box ?

the 8000 has quad tuner capibility, with some other features as well built in memory card readers, internal DVD drive etc.. Theres also the 7025 hd to be released with dual tuner slots.

Great stuff, would love to get a twin tuner dm800! Must be a big market for this on the clone side..

know when will be released this tuner

I would say it probably wont be released soon...Dream will want to protect sales of the 7020HD, so commerical intrests may mean they wont release this tuner..

im amazed at how dream hasnt been shut down yet, surely all the clones on the market must take 90% of there business from them!

already but like the Chinese take out one of s / c / t could take one of two satellite

a ver si de una vez por todas lo sacan al mercado ya el tuner dual para dreambox

So I guess this tuner wouldn't work in a clone then?

I don't have a need for one just now but I'd still like to be able to add a second tuner to my 800se clone if the need arrives (still use me sky hd box from time to time)

to see if once and for all you put on the market and the dual tuner for dreambox
