I have a cloned DM800, on receiving it it crashed, green screen at the point of selecting the type of output I would like,
I have a dm7000 so thought it was probably just wanting a flash, didnt realise i put an official image in & got eh NO CA Error.
Down loaded the 2ndstage pack. Started dream up, stared repair tool, selected an image (second stage dm800 62), img too big displayed.
Press ok, when power up the box i get " integer is too big and it all just sits there.
What am I doing wrong, feel like a right donut!
Thanks

You needed patched dreamup for clones. Use serial null modem + ethernet cable connected to the reciever. When the box is in Serial mode flash SIM2.01 Bootloader SSL82, you should then be able to flash a new image by web browsing to the IP address on the OLED display.

Thanks for the reply, is there a download for this file anywhere? Sorry if a dumb question, trying to find my way....

Right then some progress,
I downloaded OpenPLi-2.betadmsimssl82,
connected both modem (null) and network.
started dream up, started repair 800 dragged it over, clicked dream icon, chose flash, selected the nfi image, then powered up the box.
green bar goes across.
now display on box shows 192.168.0.21, serial mode.
I type this IP in to explorer and it wont connect?

What have I missed?
**OK found that I need to select the IP in the network connection bit, now flashing firmware...

Have you configured the tuner in Settings-Service Searching-Tuner Setup ???

Thanks for reply,
disconnected the power supply that goes to the tuner and straight off it worked.
