Sky1-3 issues ?

Hi guys,

My DM800 has developed an issue recently where as Sky1, SKy2 & Sky3 have all stopped working (Tune Error).

Sky1 HD works perfectly as do ALL of my other channels.

Any ideas on what the problem may be ?

I was hoping someone would confirm that before I re-scanned. I have never actually scanned anything in on this box before, always just downloaded the Likra settings !

just scan the transponders for sky 1 etc
shouldnt need to do a full rescan

I used the B16 MCC Uk services tool to generate new bouquets with correct frequncies...fantastic little application.

Yes it should work on any E1 or E2 box, Just generate the bouquets using the tool, then load them up in Dreambox Edit select type2 for E1 Dm500, or type 4 for E2 Dreambox 800HD E2.

It's on the Dreambox UK forum thats where B16 MCC releases all his tools and utilities. I will upload the latest version to the downloads section here it's called
DreamboxUK Services Database Frontend v0.3.3 .

Tool is by B16 MCC over at Dreambox UK, all credit to him for producing a great tool.

I used to use B16MCC bouquets anyway...before this tool it does list all the HD channels..they dont cause an issue, they appear in the listings obv you'll get a blank screen on these channels on an SD box.

Yeah it is really good,

BigHol, you could use it but it would be a bit off a p###y because it is made for e2 not e1 so you would have to then take out hd channels etc, etc, to get them to work.


Gsmtech, not certain but i think you could be wrong there, B16 used to do them so they worked on both types, but i don't think this does unless you change things to suit e1.

Big-Hol, here is a e1 channel list for sly 28e, these channels correspond with the sly channel numbering. these were just uploaded yesterday so they are up to date.

cheers mate i'll give this bouquet a go, although i normally use tonedeffs channel list, just havnt bothered updating the new frequencies yet so now is the time, lol, thanks!:Clap:

Seem to work OK i've just stuck them on a DM500S clone, by setting to type 2 in Dreambox Edit. No issues noted yet. I'll have a play and report if theres anything out of place.

I wasn't sure, thought i had read people saying they would'nt work without playing about with them, if they do work it saves a heap of hassle for people with e1 boxes.
