boxnumber with new sky+ box

Hey guys,
until now I had a Thomson sky+ box, but I used my card in my DM8000 (internal reader -Slot1), for that I converted my sky+ boxnumber in hex and put the new number in my c*am.cfg...now the challenge...next week I will get my new Amstrad 2TB Box and friends of mine in the Netherlands told me that the new boxnumbers have a Letter like A or D on the end, so you cant convert the boxnumber anymore...:Angryfire

Does anyone has the same problem and maybe a solution? :grayno:

Once that Official card goes into that new 2TB Official receiver its adios to all your premium HD channels, as explained above no solution as yet

Thanks man, not a really nice perspective...so I will leave the card in my dream as long as possible...:Ha:

Why are you getting a new box? Did you order it? I'd not bother sticking my card in and just keep it paired with the old one. Is it being installed by an engineer? Don't answer the door lol

Hi...have a old thomson, since two weeks no hd channels and screen message to change the box and it is dying anyway...in my dream everything is still working, got a letter, that pairing with old box i.e. card working will stop end of november, so I will get the new box next week and they want to pair the card with the new box...but an other friend told me that his new 2TB has all numbers in the box key, only 11 instead of 10...so should work...I will give a report next week...:flame::BLOBBY:

Everyone was saying it'll happen but your the first person I've seen with a Thomson who is being forced to change! Wonder how long everyone else has left?
