No not yet.Stay on 3.0 for a few more days image is still being tweeked.been problems with kernel size and E2 not booting

You may have noticed that there are OpenPLi4 images for all boxes now. However, most of them aren't tested, and there's a fair chance they won't boot. If you feel like experimenting, it's okay to try them, they won't break anything.

The OpenPLi4 image has only been tested on the VuSolo2, VuDuo2, ET9x00 and dm8000. Those will work. There's no guarantee for the others...

Reportedly, the dm800se and dm500hd don't work.

hiya all anyone using this yet ? got a a8p in my se box , am using openpli 3 at moment ! cheers

lol tell me about it ferret ! tried it having a mare !!! :-( never put openpli 3 back on the box sooooooo fast :) back running now !! cheers mate

still not stable ie dcc wont work.

Well documented problem,i faced same issue..just use PUTTY or you can telnet(i dont know how but download putty it does it for you..dead easy) and rename image so keep it as root but just put in another password (anything you like) in instead of dreambox and works a treat then.Easy to follow instructions come with putty
once you have changed password just use that in DCC to connect to image/box.So login is root and password is what you made.

openpli 4.0 seems okay on solo2 ran it for while and backed it up for later.
