Backup image 7025

Hi,
Can anyone advise me how i go about doing a complete backup of my 7025 Gemini image, including all settings, services, etc.

you could try this if you have an hdd in your box lol

This seems to have worked but the backup image is only 5mb in size, as opposed to the original image which is circa 20mb?

Any ideas?

or you could just backup your settings with the plugin backup and restore ,to usb

or hdd

once backed up you could flash another image then restore your settings

not sure if it keeps the keys and scce files cant remember lol

cant think at the minute just on me way out

You're right, there are certain directories that you can't back up on the blue menu, not to mention a scattering of other files which i may have modified, hence i just wanted to back the whole lot up.

If you have any ideas why the file size is smaller than the original, do let me know mate.

I'm obviosuly loathed to do a flash with this file, given it doesn't look right.

hi m8 did you chmod the files to 755 ,when you ftp,d them in

if u use flashwizard 6.3 to flash a new image u will have an option to backup your old image b4 flashing ur new image and its one of the easyest programs to flash a dreambox
i have the program but im not sure if i can upload it here yet
