Enigma2 on DM500

Has anyone managed to do this?

I've seen an image available that is almost 20mb in size and AFAIK you need to boot your DM500 over a network in order to get it to load.

Anyone tinkered with it yet?

I'd imagine it wouldnt work very well to be honest.
The DM500 only has 32Mb of Ram and 8Mb flash memory so the image couldnt be stored in Flash.
The limited Ram ,32Mb in this era is a joke to be honest ,you have more Ram in toasters nowadays ,lol.
Its a non runner .

Yer, can u imagine having to boot over a network every time you turn on your Dreambox, lol

I'm going to give it a bash, just for the sake of it.

you sure its not on a dm500hd??? as that uses enigma 2.
