commando 14.6 cccam

This is truly a great image but i'm having some real problems getting this to work i have read loads of posts on the internet about the location of the files but i'm not 100% that i have downloaded the correct files from a trusty site can anyone guide me through this troublesome time lol

If you have downloaded CCcam.ppc, rename the .ppc extension and FTP it into the emu folder

in deed that may be the fact but where do i download CCCam.ppc and does the whole folder replace the existing or do you have to add 1 by 1

ok m8 the best thing you can do is flash one of the new pli images on your box as it has CCcam preinstalled then goto dcc open it up on ftp click on var bin make a file on your pc then open that file on the right hand side then from the left hand panel copy cccam to your file on the right it wil be 774. ish in size click the green arrow back now go to var etc and copy CCcam.cfg to the same file as CCcam now you will no you have the right cam now we can reflash the box with the commando so now when thats back on load dcc back up and open ftp go to var/bin/emu and put in CCcam click the green arrow back now you want var/etc put your CCcam.cfg in there now i should think you only have a cline so the only thing that needs to be in your CCcam.cfg is example your cline your can deleate the rest of the stuff

ok once that is done we have to use the remolt to turn the cam on so blue the top one commando extra menu press ok red softcam menu turn it on then red to restart your cam and if you have a good working cline your box should be up and running

or use google m8 Cccam 2.1.4 - Download get 2.1.4 insert with ftp and rename to CCcam , then add cccam.cfg to var>ect , if u havnt got one open notepad and save as cccam.cfg

Config file must be CCcam.cfg not cccam.cfg. Linux is case sensitive. I have been taught to suck eggs and personally would not use the default notepad in windows. Notepad++ for me.

You transfer the binary (exe file in other terms) after renaming it to the emu folder, not the whole folder.

@Mods/Admin will it breach the rules to upload the softcams and copies of the config files?
