flash new image ?

Is there a way round opening a db 500 With out using a null modem cable ?

Ok the problem i have a m8 has this box with a jade image on it his cs sever is rubbish
so I'm trying to flash different lines
And looks like the sever has locked the box !!!!!!! using DCC all connecting ok but comes up
with bootmanager not found so ftp is blank
using root breambox for password but not opening
is it poss to get round this other than null modem ? Problem being in the uk all my cables
etc are in spain ? Was thinking of a factory reset on the box but been told that will not work
Any thoughts please

Bootmanager 500 is normal on the 500

Factory rest will wipe out all user settings

You could see if the jade image downloads has tuxbox commander you can then change the password with that.

Cheers m8 so are you saying if i do a factory reset on the box i should be able to use flashwizard pro to reflash ?
